One Sunday morning, I was inspired to make blueberry iced cinnamon rolls for my family. Yes, I could have chosen to scour the internet for a recipe like a normal person. But, instead, I chose to use my favorite cinnamon roll recipe and make a blueberry sauce for the filling by "just winging it". So it was, this easy blueberry sauce recipe was born! And, may I add, it turned out marvelously!
This blueberry sauce took very few ingredients, and I was able to whip it up on the stovetop in a matter of minutes! There is so much more that this sauce could be used for: A topping for ice cream, as a filling (along with a sweet, cream cheese, perhaps) for crepes or doughnuts, a topping for a fat stack of pancakes, or a decadent, fruity filling in between a cake's layers, etc.
Impress your loved ones with your cooking skills and let your creativity run wild with this versatile, easy blueberry sauce. I would love to hear all the creative uses you find for this! Enjoy!
